I could not find George.
I looked all over the library for him.
I looked in the story time room.
No George.
I looked under my desk.
No George.
I looked in the closets.
No George.
All my friends in the PreK, JrK, and SrK classes were asking me, "Where is George?"
"We miss George!" they said.
I missed him, too.
And he was missing many good stories.
Where could he be?
Then, last night I got out my suitcase.
Look what I found!
George had hidden in my suitcase!
I asked him why.
I told him that his friends in the library were missing him.
George said that he had heard me say I was going to Japan.
He wants to go too!
He is very curious about Japan.
He wonders what Japan looks like.
He wonders what the Japanese language sounds like.
He wonders what Japanese food tastes like.
And he wants to ride on an airplane.
So, I promised George that I will take him with me to Japan.
George will come back to the library until we leave.
We leave for Japan on October 12.
We will stay in Japan for 3 weeks.
While we are there, I will write about George's adventures in Japan, on this blog.
I will post pictures of George at the places we visit.
